Summer is coming to an end, which means that soon we’ll all be retreating to our living rooms and getting cozy for the winter. Whether you’re looking forward to football season or pilot season, now is the perfect time to upgrade your TV setup. Walmart and Amazon are both running discounts on 4K TVs in several price ranges. TCL’s Roku Smart TVs are always a good budget pick; if you’re going to splurge, Sony’s $6,000 75-inch Smart LED TV is half off at Amazon.

Nintendo has yet to offer a real discount on the Nintendo Switch, so if you’re looking to snag one, now is as good a time as any short of waiting until the holiday season. Namely, Best Buy’s popular bundle, which includes a 50 percent discount on your choice of one of the system’s best games, is back after selling out in July.

For $329.99, you can pick either the Switch’s grey or neon blue / red color schemes and choose between The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. You’d most likely want to pick up one of those games with a Switch purchase anyway, so this bundle will save you about $30.

Game bundles are still the few options out there if you’re looking for a deal on the Nintendo Switch. With the holiday season approaching, we expect more bundles to drop over these last few months of the year. Just yesterday Nintendo released a Walmart-exclusive Mario Tennis Aces bundle which throws in a copy of 1-2-Switch for free. While the overall cost savings won’t differ too much, it’ll give you the chance to grab your preferred games or accessories at a discount, depending on your gaming style.

Amazon Prime Day, Amazon’s made up holiday of deals and discounts, is basically Black Friday in July. Dell is making that comparison explicit this year, by running a “Black Friday in July” sale that not-so-coincidentally coincides with Amazon’s annual extravaganza.

Like Prime Day and actual Black Friday, Dell’s Black Friday in July sale is happening over the course of a few weeks: July 2nd – July 23rd. Some deals are running now, with mega-discounted doorbusters dropping throughout the sale. These deeply discounted products will likely sell out during the limited-time doorbuster events, so if you see a deal you want to grab, it may be a good idea to bookmark the page and set a reminder on your phone. Members of Dell’s Financial Services, Advantage Loyalty Rewards, and Member Purchase Program will have early access to doorbuster deals.

Whether you’re specifically in the market for a Dell product, aren’t an Amazon Prime member, or just can’t get enough tech deals this summer, Dell’s Black Friday in July sale is a perfectly solid alternative to the Prime Day madness. The Verge’s best bets are below.

Next Wednesday is July Fourth, one of the few summer holidays with decent sales. Whether you’re planning a huge barbecue or just taking the day to enjoy a rare weekday off from work, you may want to take some time to check out the tech deals happening around Independence Day this year. 

Retailers like Amazon, eBay, HP, and more are running sales on everything from smartwatches to 4K TVs. Most Fourth of July deals run through next weekend.

Amazon

Not officially a Fourth of July sale, Amazon is running discounts on several tech products including their smart speaker, the Amazon Tap.

eBay

The online retailer is working hard to show people that it’s more than just an auction site. eBay recently announced a “Best Price Guarantee” that offers a full 110 (yes, one hundred and ten) percent back if you find the product at a lower price. There’s obviously a bit of fine print there, but it might be worth scouring the web to see if you can find your next eBay purchase at a lower price somewhere else.

eBay’s Fourth of July code, PARTYINUSA, applies to select purchases over $25. Several smart home devices are included in the sale. Head over to eBay’s sale page for a full list, or check out our best bets below.

Spectre x360 (2017)

There are a couple of good deals on laptops at HP.com this weekend. Of particular note is the Spectre X360 for $1,169.99 (usually $1,369.99), which The Verge called out as one of the best laptops in 2017.

Walmart

Walmart is a solid place to check for deals on Apple products if you don’t mind an older model.

Microsoft

The Fourth of July sale at Microsoft includes PC and Xbox deals, including $200 off the newest Surface Pro Laptop.

Father’s Day is next Sunday, June 17th, which means you have a little over a week to find a gift for the dad in your life. The Verge’s Graduation Gift Guide is a good place to look for ideas for Father’s Day gifts, but you can also check out some of the sales that retailers like Best Buy and Walmart are running.

Whether your dad is into the latest gadgets or is more of a tech novice, a new TV is always a hit. Walmart, Vizio, Best Buy, and B&H all have some great TVs on sale right now. Smart home tech is also a super dad-friendly pick. The Amazon’s Echo Dot, Echo Show, and Ring Video Doorbell 2 are all discounted this weekend.

For dads who are a little wary of virtual assistants, a good choice is the Amazon Tap, which is currently discounted to $99.99. It’s Alexa-enabled, but you have to push a button to talk to the smart assistant unless you enable hands-free mode in the app. We got one for my father-in-law last year, and he loves it.

Memorial Day may be over, but some of the best tech deals we’ve seen this year are just beginning. If you’re in the market for a new TV, Samsung’s QLED TVs are some of the best available. You can pick up the 49-inch ClassQ6F version at Samsung today for $799.99, a full $500 off MSRP. If you’re looking for something a little more affordable, Walmart is running a sale on mid-priced 4K TVs — both the 43-inch Vizio Class FHD and Hisense’s 49-inch Smart LED TV are on sale for for $219.99 each. (The Hisense is a better deal, since it’s usually priced at $349.99.)

PC gamers may also want to check out some of the monitors on sale this weekend. B&H is running a sale on computer monitors through midnight tonight, June 2nd. The best deal is probably on the 24-inch Samsung C24FG70. Pick up this curved LCD monitor for $199.99, or $100 off MSRP. You can also save 33 percent off a 25-inch Alienware monitor at Jet or 17 percent off a 31.5-inch curved ASUS monitor at Amazon.

Hopefully you’re spending the long weekend enjoying warm weather, but if you’re also in the market for some new gadgets, you may want to block off a few hours to check out all of the tech deals happening this weekend. It’s no Black Friday, but the internet’s next big sale event won’t be until Amazon Prime Day, which takes place in July (probably).

Many retailers have already started discounting some of our favorite tech, from TVs to laptops to headphones. We’ll be updating this post as new deals drop, so be sure to check back all weekend for the most up-to-date deals.

Best Buy

The big-box retailer is running several great Memorial Day deals, including the Apple sale we highlighted last week and discounts on major appliances, but the most exciting are the discounts on 4K TVs. Models from budget TCL smart TVs to high-end Samsung QLED TVs are marked down for the long weekend. Our favorite picks from Best Buy’s TV and Home Theater sale are listed below.

Microsoft, Dell, HP, and Lenovo

PC manufacturers are discounting some of our favorite laptops and desktop PCs from high-end gaming rigs to affordable 2-in-1 business laptops. Particularly noteworthy is Microsoft’s sale on the Surface Laptop. (The Microsoft landing page includes a quote from Dan Siefert’s review.) The Verge also loved the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, which is on sale at Lenovo’s website. Dell is offering 10 percent off its already discounted XPS series of PCs with code XPSMEM10. Here are your best bets from this weekend’s PC sales.

eBay

eBay’s pre-Memorial Day sale wasn’t very exciting, but for the main event they’re offering a few tech deals that are worth checking out.

B&H and Adorama

Both B&H and Adorama are running some great deals this weekend, and B&H offered Verge readers a few exclusive discounts on a GoPro Drone, the new LG V30S ThinkQ phone (in Moroccan Blue, matte or glossy), and a Ring Pro video doorbell. The exclusive deals end on Monday, May 28 unless otherwise stated.

Massdrop

Massdrop isn’t running any Memorial Day sales, but a few of the deals we called out last week have a limited quantity still available. The B78 OLED TV from LG is on sale for $1,299.99 ($1,499.99 at LG) through the end of the day today, Wednesday, May 23rd. The $199.99 Massdrop-exclusive Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones are available through Friday, June 1st. They’re basically identical to Sennheiser’s HD 650 headphones, which The Verge called “the perfect headphones,” only $200 cheaper.

It’s Mother’s Day weekend! Hopefully you got your mom something already, but if you’re still looking for a last-minute Mother’s Day gift, Sony discounted their gorgeous glass speaker for the occasion. It was designed for Sony’s Life Space UX series of products, which focuses on aesthetically pleasing gadgets that blend in with your home decor. The Glass Sound Speaker is very pretty, with a glass cylinder that not only pushes out sound in a more natural-sounding frequency, but also glows like a lantern with a dimmable LED. Sony is offering $100 off the $800 speaker on Amazon, just in time for Mother’s Day.

The Walmart-owned discount e-commerce site Jet.com recently started selling Apple products. To celebrate, they’re offering limited-time bundles on Apple products like the iPhone X, MacBook, and Apple Watch. The MacBook bundles come with Beats Studio headphones and a Magic Mouse. Apple Watch bundles include the Beats headphones as well and start at $479. The iPhone X bundle includes Apple EarPods (not the wireless AirPods) and a silicone case. Sold separately, they would come to $1,067, but the bundle goes for $1,026.88.
