That includes several <em>Star Trek</em> spinoffs, a new sci-fi show on Apple TV Plus, trailers for everything from <em>Peacemaker</em> to <em>Gen V</em>, and a surprising amount of Stephen King.</p>

At Comic-Con today, Amazon revealed the first look at its upcoming adaptation of <a href="https://www.theverge.com/24055072/like-a-dragon-infinite-wealth-review-yakuza-sega">the <em>Yakuza </em>game series</a>, with the show <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2024/6/4/24171004/amazons-live-action-tv-adaptation-of-yakuza-like-a-dragon-starts-streaming-in-october"><em>Like a Dragon: Yakuza</em></a> (not to be confused with the game <a href="https://www.theverge.com/21558093/yakuza-like-a-dragon-review-xbox-series-x"><em>Yakuza: Like a Dragon</em></a>). The streaming series will follow <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2018/4/16/17242280/yakuza-6-song-of-life-review-ps4">original <em>Yakuza</em> hero Kazuma Kiryu</a>.</p>
<p>Amazon says that the show "showcases modern Japan and the dramatic stories of these intense characters, such as the legendary Kazuma Kiryu, that games in the past have not been able to explore." <p>It looks like Peacock is getting a solid dose of horror very soon. At San Diego Comic-Con, the streamer showed off a very brief teaser for its upcoming thriller series <em>Teacup</em>, while also confirming that it will start streaming in October.</p>
<p>According to Peacock, the show "follows a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive." It's dropping the next episode of <em>Star Trek: Strange New Worlds</em> five days early.
