Officially called the ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept, the proof-of-concept is a 14-inch productivity machine with two plug-and-play interchangeable ports and a second 14-inch display magnetically attached to the rear of its lid. The second display is removable and can be propped up on a magnetic kickstand (stored under the laptop) and plugged in via USB-C.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-none">Lenovo is at it again with <a href="https://www.theverge.com/e/852482">wild laptop concepts</a> for CES 2026, and the biggest one is the Legion Pro Rollable gaming laptop. It has a flexible OLED display that expands horizontally - as opposed to Lenovo's <a href="https://www.theverge.com/reviews/717491/lenovo-thinkbook-plus-gen-6-rollable-laptop-review">ThinkBook Plus Gen 6</a>, which rolls up and down. The Legion Pro Rollable's screen goes from a conventional 16-inch 16:10 aspect ratio to an extra-wide 21.5 inches, all the way to an ultrawide 24 inches. That's even bigger (diagonally, at least) than the ridiculous <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2017/5/22/15672294/acer-predator-21-x-review-gaming-laptop-9000-gtx-1080">$9,000 21-inch gaming laptop</a> Acer once made.</p>

The Lenovo ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept is a pretty standard-looking 14-inch productivity laptop, but if you nudge the screen's edge from its top-right corner, the whole display rotates 90 degrees within its chassis, realigning itself into a better view for documents, coding, or doomscrolling.</p>
<p class="has-text-align-none">That's it. That's its whole trick. It's both utterly delightful and a touch mundane - much simpler than other, wilder Lenovo concepts. It's a lot like an amped-up Apple Center Stage webcam, but the whole laptop adapts to you and your posture.</p>
<p class="has-text-align-none">That's basically what it felt like when it was demoed for me at a recent preview event, where it tracked me side to side and up and down around a table. In another demo, it did a "dance" where it ran through its full range of motion to some cheesy music. The Yoga Solar PC is an early proof of concept device featuring a solar panel integrated into the laptop's lid. <p>Jaguar's <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2024/11/19/24300569/jaguar-rebrand-new-logo-ev">new ethos is "copy nothing,"</a> and the first concept car of its new era is trying to deliver.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2024/12/2/24311464/the-new-all-electric-very-pink-jaguar-concept-leaks-online">leaks earlier</a> were accurate, with the <a href="https://media.jaguar.com/en-us/news/2024/12/jaguar-unveils-type-00-unmistakable-unexpected-dramatic">Type 00 two-door coupe</a> presenting a long hood that leads to a low roof and fastback rear profile that forgoes any rear window. Jaguar chief creative officer Gerry McGovern said in a presentation that "when Jaguar was at its best, it threw away the design rulebook and created E-Type and the XJS…objects of desire." This car is supposed to be another step in that direction.</p>
