If it’s time for you to upgrade your phone, it’s worth considering the Pixel 10A, Google’s latest midrange phone that has some (but not all) of the new software features of the pricier $599 Pixel 10. Every color of the 128GB 10A — including the alluring “berry” tone — is down to $449 ($50 off) at Amazon, Best Buy, and the Google Store, where you can get it for even less with an eligible trade-in. This is the first cash discount we’ve seen since the phone’s launch in early March. The 256GB version is $50 off, too, selling for $549 at Amazon and Best Buy.

Google Pixel 10A

Where to Buy:

<strike>$499</strike> $449 at Amazon (128GB)

<strike>$499</strike> $449 at Best Buy (128GB)

<strike>$599</strike> $549 at Amazon (256GB)

If you look at our coverage of the Pixel 10A, it won’t take you long to put the pieces together and see that we feel Google played it safe with this year’s model. It’s strikingly similar to last year’s Pixel 9A — both feature a Tensor G4 processor, plus a camera combo consisting of a 48-megapixel main shooter and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens — but we don’t suggest getting the 9A, at least right now. Its software support will end a year earlier, and it’s currently more expensive than the 10A ($50 more at most retailers).

The 10A stands out for its slightly brighter screen, faster wired charging, and support for Satellite SOS, among other small differences. It also has two unique AI-powered features from the Pixel 10 series that are not available on the 9A: Camera Coach and Auto Best Take. However, there are no internal hardware differences in the latest version that would prevent the features from coming to last year’s model.

The wireless, noise-canceling earbuds debuted in mid-February at $329, and they were discounted to this price once before, in the latter half of March. My colleague John Higgins praised their stellar sound, great call quality, and their best-in-class active noise cancellation. However, how well the ANC works for you will depend on whether you can get a good seal with their included foam ear tips. He noticed the tips starting to wiggle out after some time, though Sony will send you silicone tips for free if you can’t get a good seal in its Sound Connect companion app on mobile. Read our review.

The retailer is offering AMD’s Ryzen 5 7500X3D processor pre-mounted on a compatible AM5-socket motherboard (saving new builders a somewhat stressful installation step), and you’ll get 16GB of G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5 RAM clocked at up to 6,000MHz all for $299.99. While the included motherboard varies, you’ll be able to figure out for yourself which one you’ll get in the bundle when you go into the store.

Elden Ring Nightreign is on sale as part of Best Buy’s Ultimate Deal sale on tech and video games, with the Xbox Series X version now at $11.99 (typically $29.99). FromSoftware’s multiplayer twist on Elden Ring was engineered for fervent fans of the single-player RPG and people who dig roguelike games. It’s designed to be played in groups of three (though you can play alone or in a duo), and its roguelike design is the opposite of the open-ended game it derives from. The explorable map shrinks throughout each in-game day, culminating in difficult boss matches. Read our hands-on impressions.

The Pixel Watch 4 is our favorite Fitbit-powered smartwatch, one that offers a great feature set for the price. Google’s latest wearable features dual-frequency GPS, which improves accuracy in challenging environments such as cities and dense forests, and it can automatically record certain cardio activities on your behalf, including both running and cycling. It also offers improved sleep tracking, satellite SOS (on the LTE model), and a slew of AI features courtesy of Gemini — including an exclusive raise-to-talk gesture that’s useful while on a run.

The hardware has improved as well. Most notably, you can now replace and repair both the screen and the battery, making it a better long-term investment. The display is bigger and brighter, too, and the Pixel Watch 4 lasts about a day and a half on a single charge, or roughly 45 hours if you buy the 45mm model (up from 32 hours on the Watch 3). Charging is also faster, allowing you to charge it up to 80 percent capacity in under 30 minutes. And as a nice little extra, the included side-mounted charger lets you use the watch as a glanceable display, so you can see the battery percentage and other useful tidbits of info more easily.

While it’s not easily repairable like the Watch 4 and lacks some of the aforementioned upgrades (including dual-frequency GPS), it still offers a good set of health and fitness tools, allowing you to track your activity, sleep, blood oxygen levels, and heart rate. It also supports Gemini and integrates well with Google’s various services, letting you download offline maps and leave your wallet at home by paying via Google Wallet. You can even use it to control a slew of compatible devices from your wrist, from Nest cameras and video doorbells to the newest Google TV devices.

The Google Pixel 10 offers several features you won’t find in the $499 Pixel 10A, which helps this deal stand out even with Amazon, Best Buy, and Google offering $100 gift cards with Pixel 10a preorders. For one thing, It boasts a sharp 6.3-inch OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, along with a more capable camera system that includes a dedicated telephoto lens. You also get Google’s more powerful and faster Tensor G5 chip, which is the same one found in the pricier Pro models. Plus, with 12GB of RAM instead of just 8GB, you can take advantage of more advanced AI features like Magic Cue, which offers helpful suggestions based on what you’re doing on your phone.

The Pixel 10 also includes a few other perks. You get Qi2 wireless charging with built-in magnets, the latter of which the Pixel A lacks. Google promises seven years of OS and security updates, making it a great investment for years to come. The IP67-rated tracker also includes a handy button that can ring your phone or act as a remote camera shutter. While it lacks the new Moto Tag 2’s 500-day battery life, the original uses a replaceable CR2032 battery that lasts up to a year.

Roughly the size of a 24-ounce Hydro Flask, the speaker is built for pool parties, as it’s capable of floating on water while playing music thanks to upward-facing speakers. It also boasts some fun colorful LED lights, but it’s just as well-suited for other kinds of outdoor adventures, too, courtesy of a rugged IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating and a feature that lets it shake off dust. Plus, you can even use it to signal for help if you’re in an emergency.

Welcome to the weekend, folks! The Reviews and Guides team here at The Verge is gearing up for all things Unpacked, but Samsung isn’t the only one readying new phones. Google just announced the Pixel 10A, which, for you early adopters, is already up for preorder with a $100 gift card. Elsewhere in deal land, you’ll find steep discounts on mopping vacuums, slight discounts on Soundcore’s cheap ANC headphones, and a rare discount on a new PC controller with swiveling sticks.

So, let’s get to it, shall we?

We finally have a release date for the Pixel 10A: March 5th. What’s more, if you’re thinking about picking up Google’s latest phone, you can already preorder the base-model configuration at Amazon and Best Buy with 128GB of storage and a $100 gift card for $499. Alternatively, Amazon is offering it with a free pair of the Pixel Buds 2A, a fantastic set of recently released earbuds that typically retail for $130.

Despite being a pretty minimal update, Google’s forthcoming Android handset is a pretty solid deal. It doesn’t adopt a lot of features from the flagship Pixel 10 series; however, last year’s Tensor G4 chip is still speedy enough for most tasks, satellite SOS is handy, and you get slightly faster wired and wireless charging. More importantly, it still comes with seven years of OS and security updates, which, personally, I’d take over Magic Cue, Pixel Screenshots, and other AI-based tools any day of the week.

I’m admittedly not a huge fan of fighting games — I have no patience for learning combos, dear readers — but the Turtle Beach Stealth Pivot seems like a good compromise if I were forced to choose between a traditional controller and one specifically built for hammering out hadokens. And now, the novel gamepad is on sale at both Amazon and Best Buy for $99.99 ($40 off), its lowest price to date.

Although Turtle Beach’s wireless PC controller offers a slew of welcome components, including drift-free Hall effect joysticks and adjustable trigger stops, its defining feature is a pair of rotating modules that can “pivot” to reveal a customizable controller layout that’s better suited for retro titles and fighting games. You also get programmable back buttons, the ability to save up to five profiles, and a 3.5mm audio jack, not to mention compatibility with mobile devices over Bluetooth and Xbox consoles via a wired connection.

The sound quality and ANC don’t rival the flagships from Sony or Bose, sure, but you can try over 20 different presets or tweak the sound yourself using the eight-band equalizer in Anker’s companion app. They can also last up to 40 hours with ANC enabled, meaning you should be able to fly from New York to Singapore and back again without ever having to charge them.

Google’s refreshed Nest Cam Indoor, which launched in October, is already down to a new low of $74.99 ($25 off) at Amazon. The wired camera supports 2K HDR video and offers a taller and wider field of view than prior models, along with a new sensor for full-color low-light video. It also comes in a new berry color, which, for better or worse, seems to be Google’s latest obsession.

After a quick series of price drops, Piggyback’s Metroid Prime 1–3: A Visual Retrospective has settled in at $36.59 (about $13 off) at Amazon and Walmart, which is the best price we’ve seen on the excellent hardcover. We rarely go out of our way to flag tabletop books at The Verge, but given the treasure trove of stunning concept art and the behind-the-scenes stories on display here, we thought we’d make an exception. It even features assets that never appeared in the trilogy, as if the original mock-ups and juicy developer commentary weren’t enough. Read our review.

Eufy’s Robot Vacuum Omni S2 is right around the corner — which is probably why the Omni S1 Pro is available for an all-time low of $699.99 ($800 off) at Eufy’s online storefront when you use promo code WS24T2080111. The robovac / mop hybrid is still a great option for hardwood floors despite being a last-gen pick, especially since it can self-wash and dry its own roller mop as it cleans. It also features AI-powered obstacle avoidance and 8,000Pa of suction, which is enough power to pick up most debris.

As promised, Google opened preorders for its Pixel 10A midrange phone, and it’ll launch on March 5th. We already published a hands-on with the device, and I encourage you to check it out (we think it’s more like a better Pixel 9A than a slightly worse Pixel 10). If you decide that you want to go through with a preorder, the best deal we’ve found so far is at Amazon and Best Buy, where you can get a $100 gift card by preordering the $499 phone with 128GB of storage in any of its four colors (berry, fog, obsidian, lavender). Alternatively, you can opt to get a free pair of Pixel Buds 2A (a $129 value) instead with the purchase of the obsidian color at Amazon.

Google Pixel 10A

Google’s new Pixel 10A introduces faster wired charging, Satellite SOS, and new AI tools like Camera Coach and Auto Best Take. Otherwise, it’s basically the Pixel 9A, with the same Tensor G4 chip and a dual-camera system. Read our hands-on impressions.

Where to Buy:

<strike>$499</strike> $449 at Amazon (128GB)

<strike>$499</strike> $449 at Best Buy (128GB)

<strike>$599</strike> $549 at Amazon (256GB)

If you want to buy a Pixel 10A through the Google Store, it’s offering either a $100 store credit or a pair of Pixel Buds 2A with purchase through March 11th. Additionally, trading in your phone can knock down the price of the 10A to as low as $49, depending on the model (my Pixel 9 Pro with 128GB of storage would get $450 in trade-in credit, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max would only get $100 more).

While the Pixel 10A looks almost identical to last year’s Pixel 9A, there are some differences. It has the stronger Gorilla Glass 7i glass, and it’s capable of going up to 11 percent brighter, peaking at 3,000 nits. Google says that the screen’s bezels are 10 percent narrower. It’s a similar phone to the Pixel 9A internally, too, with the Tensor G4 processor and 8GB of RAM, but it lacks PixelSnap, so it can’t tap into Google’s ecosystem of magnetic Pixel 10 accessories. It has some AI-powered features from the latest flagship phone, but ones like Magic Cue and Pixel Screenshots aren’t included here due to memory constraints.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for other appealing Pixel 10A preorder offers to add to this post ahead of the phone’s launch.

Correction, February 18th, 2026: An earlier version of this story misstated the Pixel 10A’s release date. It is March 5, not March 4.
