If you’re looking for a way to stream the Oscars this weekend, or catch up on nominees like The Secret Agent, the Disney Plus and Hulu bundle is worth a look. The ceremony will stream live on Hulu for the first time on March 15th, and right now, new and eligible returning subscribers can get three months of Disney Plus bundled with Hulu with ads for $4.99 ($8 off) a month, which equates to a savings of $24.

Disney Plus, Hulu Bundle (with ads)

Where to Buy:

<strike>$12.99</strike> $4.99 at Disney Plus (monthly)

The package grants access to thousands of movies and TVs shows, so in addition to watching Oscar nominees like It Was Just An Accident, you can also stream the latest season of Paradise, the Scrubs revival, and other Hulu titles like The Bear, The Handmaid’s Tale, and more. On top of that, you’ll also get access to the entire Disney Plus catalog, which features a range of films and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. That means you can stream Andor, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Toy Story, The Simpsons, and Bluey, along with upcoming releases like Daredevil Born Again’s second season and the Zootopia sequel.

The main caveat is you’ll have to sit through commercials and won’t be able to download content for offline viewing. Just note that the promotion runs through March 24th at 11:59am ET. After that, the price will return to its regular $12.99 monthly price, so be sure to set a reminder to cancel if you’re only after the discount. Otherwise, though, the bundle grants access to the same catalog as the ad-free Premium plan, which is $19.99 a month.

If you’re looking for a way to entertain parents and kids this holiday season, look no further than a subscription to Hulu and Disney Plus. Now through December 1st, new and returning subscribers can snag an annual ad-supported subscription to both streaming services for just $4.99 a month ($8 off). The Black Friday deal, which first launched as an exclusive for Good Morning America viewers, saves you nearly $100 on the bundle over 12 months. It lets you enjoy Pixar movies, classic Disney titles, and the adorable Bluey for less. The plan will automatically renew at its then-current price once your subscription period is over, unless you cancel ahead of time.

Disney Plus, Hulu Bundle (with ads)

You can get an ad-supported Disney Plus and Hulu bundle for $4.99 a month ($8 off) for an entire year. Both streaming services feature a deep catalog of new and classic TV shows and movies, including The Simpsons, Andor, Toy Story, The Fantastic 4: First Steps, and Freakier Friday.

Where to Buy:

<strike>$12.99</strike> $4.99 at Disney Plus (monthly)

The attractive bundle provides access to thousands of movies and TV shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, the Star Wars franchise, National Geographic, and more. If you’ve ever wanted to see why people are raving about Andor, Disney Plus is the only place you can watch it. And seeing as the holidays are just around the corner, Disney is the only streaming service you can catch classics like Home Alone, The Santa Clause, and The Polar Express. A Hulu sub, on the other hand, gives you access to Hulu originals like The Handmaid’s Tale, adult animation like Bob’s Burgers and The Simpsons, and shows like Gilmore Girls, Modern Family, Alien: Earth, and The Bear.

The ongoing Black Friday promo can help mitigate the recent price hike that hit Disney Plus last month. We also can’t ignore the fact that Disney may be trying to make up for lost subscribers after briefly taking Jimmy Kimmel off the air. Considering how expensive this time of year can be between travel, gifts, and meals, any amount saved is welcome. But remember to set a reminder on your calendar if you do snag a subscription, so you can weigh whether you want to continue paying at full price.

Hulu raised the price of its Live TV service to $89.99 today, October 21st, for current subscribers. However, new and returning subscribers (who haven’t had an active subscription for a month) can get Hulu with Live TV for $64.99 per month (was $82.99) for the first three months of their subscription. The deal runs until November 5th at 6PM ET, and can save you $75 versus paying full price.

In addition to its over 95 channels of TV with unlimited DVR recording (Hulu has the entire channel list here), this subscription also gets you ad-supported versions of Hulu, Disney Plus, ESPN Select and Unlimited.

Hulu with Live TV

Hulu (with Live TV) lets you stream over 90 channels with unlimited DVR. The subscription also comes with (ad-supported) Disney Plus and Hulu subscriptions, plus ESPN Select and Unlimited.

Where to Buy:

<strike>$89.99</strike> $64.99 at Hulu (per month)

Hulu’s discount lines up nicely with the MLB World Series, which you’ll be able to stream live when it kicks off on October 24th. You can also catch up on Andor, Only Murders in the Building, the King of the Hill reboot, and much more. A benefit of a live TV streaming service such as this one is that you can watch shows on your smartphone or tablet as they air instead of waiting for them on demand. The unlimited DVR feature comes in handy if you’re busy during a live broadcast.

The price of live TV subscription services continues to rise, so Hulu’s deal is well worth considering, especially if you’ve never tried it before. YouTube TV is offering a discount on the first three months of your subscription, but the starting price is $72.99 (was $82.99), so you’ll only save $30 all in all. The Hulu with Live TV subscription will automatically renew at its full price once your trial discount expires, but the three months of service at this discounted rate should be enough time to assess whether it’s still worth it for you.

Correction, October 24th: An earlier version of this article misstated how much Hulu’s ongoing promo saves you over the course of three months. It saves you $75, not $45.

So far, 2025 has been a great year for watching new, must-see TV shows and movies on subscription services. But if you, like many of us, have more concurrent subscriptions than you care to admit, you’ll agree that keeping up with the latest stuff every month can get expensive. They may not cost as much as most of the tech we cover, but it adds up.

If you’re trying to cut down on your expenses, you might be able to do so while holding onto your precious subscriptions. Attempting to cancel your service is a good way to see if you’ll be offered a cheaper monthly rate to stick around. Outside of that, several services offer promos at different times throughout the year, some of which are even available to new and returning subscribers alike. Below, we’ve curated some of the best deals going on right now, so you can enjoy streaming your favorite show or movie for less than it would typically cost you.

Note: keep an eye out for free trials and student discounts

Most streaming services offer free trials that typically last from a week to a month, whether you sign up for an annual membership or just a monthly subscription. However, you will likely have to provide your credit card information in advance, and you will be charged once your trial is over, so make a note in your calendar if you don’t want to be charged.

Some streaming platforms offer student discounts. These include Hulu, Paramount Plus, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime, and more. You’ll have to prove your student eligibility through a sign-up form and typically be enrolled in an accredited Title IV college or university to take advantage of these deals.

The best Peacock deals

Peacock

Peacock is NBCUniversal’s streaming service, one that offers next-day programming from NBC (and Bravo). The platform also provides access to live sports programming, including Sunday Night Football and WWE, as well as movies and shows like The Wild Robot, Conclave, Wicked, Oppenheimer, Yellowstone, Teacup, Saturday Night Live, Rian Johnson’s Poker Face, and The Office spinoff, The Paper, which debuts on September 4th.

The platform currently offers two plans: an ad-supported Peacock Premium tier for $10.99 a month (or $109.99 a year) or the ad-free Peacock Premium Plus tier for $16.99 a month (or $169.99 a year). Only the latter lets you download content for offline viewing. These new prices went into effect in late July for new subscribers, and current subscribers will continue paying the previous rate until August 22nd.

In terms of deals, things are pretty dry right now. You can grab a complimentary subscription when you sign up for a year of Instacart Plus ($99 annually or $9.99 a month). You can also get free access if you’re an Xfinity Internet customer with gigabit speeds or a Diamond or Platinum Rewards member. If you’re a first responder or a medical professional (and are alright with your credentials being verified by SheerID), you can get Peacock’s monthly plan for $3.99 per month, which is a nice perk.

Sling TV is a streaming service that functions as a more affordable alternative to YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV. With it, you can watch a range of streaming services as well as live and on-demand channels — including ESPN, CNN, Fox, NBC, Comedy Central, and Cartoon Network — on multiple devices.

Sling offers an ad-supported free tier — Sling Freestream — which provides access to more than 500 live channels as well as more than 40,000 on-demand movies and TV shows.

The platform also offers four paid plans, all of which come with 50 hours of DVR storage: Sling Select ($19.99 a month); Sling Blue ($50.99 a month); Sling Orange ($45.99 a month); and Sling Orange and Blue ($65.99 a month). Sling also lets you subscribe to HBO Max as a Blue-tier add-on for a discount (totaling $57.97 per month), or you can sign up for an ad-free subscription to HBO Max as a standalone service for $16.99 a month.

Sling Select includes access to just 11 channels — including Fox News, NFL Network, National Geographic, and Vice — while select markets also get access to Fox, ABC, and NBC. You can add additional channels, if desired, but you’ll have to pay extra. Sling Orange, meanwhile, is best for sports fans since it includes ESPN channels — but only on one device. Sling Blue, on the other hand, offers a number of channels Sling Orange lacks, including Fox News, MSNBC, E!, Discovery, Bravo, and local NBC or Fox affiliates. You can also subscribe to a bundle that includes both Sling Orange and Sling Blue, which offers all the channels featured in the first two plans.

Right now, you can save money by signing up for Sling’s new Season Pass, which grants you five months of access to Sling Orange or Sling Blue for $199 ($31 off). Alternatively, you can opt for five months of both packages for $274, which saves you $56 over the course of five months. If you just want temporary access to Sling Orange so you can watch a sports game, Sling also recently introduced Flexible Passes, which include a Day Pass ($4.99), a Weekend Pass ($9.99), and a Week Pass ($14.99). Finally, Sling also offers a Premium Pass, which provides new Sling subscribers access to Paramount Plus with Showtime, Starz, MGM Plus, and AMC Plus.
