While the best iPad deals usually land during major sale events like Black Friday, many great iPad deals are available outside of those moments. The day-to-day discounts come and go like the changing winds, so there’s often some amount to be saved somewhere, particularly on Apple’s most affordable iPad and the latest iPad Mini. Hell, you can even often find discounts on the latest M5 iPad Pro, which is already on sale at multiple retailers.

All that being said, it’s difficult to know where exactly you can find the most notable iPad deals unless you’re scouring the major retailers on a daily basis. But that’s often what our deal hunters at The Verge are doing, so let us help you out. Below, we’ve rounded up the best prices on every current iPad model, from the 11th-gen base iPad to the more powerful models with the M3, M4, and M5 chips.

The best iPad (2025) deals

Where to Buy:

<strike>$349</strike> $299.99 at Amazon (128GB, Wi-Fi)

<strike>$449</strike> $399.99 at Amazon (256GB, Wi-Fi)

<strike>$349.99</strike> $299.99 at Costco (128GB, Wi-Fi)

Apple’s 11th-gen iPad landed on the scene a year ago. The newest base-model tablet is a fairly iterative update of the prior model, but with 128GB of base storage (up from 64GB) and an A16 Bionic chip, which is nearly 30 percent faster than the A14 chip used in the 10th-gen iPad. However, the newer chip doesn’t support the various Apple Intelligence features introduced in iPadOS 18.1 and subsequent updates. For that, you’ll want to opt for a more recent iPad Air, iPad Mini, or iPad Pro model.

Pricing-wise, the latest iPad starts at $349 with Wi-Fi and 128GB of storage. You can also upgrade to 256GB or 512GB of storage for an additional $100 or $200, respectively, or purchase an LTE model starting at $499. Right now it’s available at Amazon and for Costco members in select colors for $299.99 ($50 off), which is just $20 shy of its all-time low price. If you’d prefer more storage, you can buy the 256GB model at Amazon starting at $399.99 ($50 off), or the 512GB variant at Amazon starting at $597 ($52 off).

The best iPad Mini (2024) deals

iPad Mini (2024)

Where to Buy:

<strike>$499</strike> $474 at Amazon (128GB, Wi-Fi)

<strike>$599</strike> $569 at Amazon (256GB, Wi-Fi)

The seventh-gen iPad Mini is similar in several ways to the previous model, but comes with some big internal upgrades. It includes faster Wi-Fi and USB-C speeds, support for the Apple Pencil Pro, and a newer A17 Pro processor with 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence. Otherwise, it boasts nearly identical specs and features as the last-gen model, meaning it has an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display and options for 5G. It may not be worth upgrading if you already own a sixth-gen Mini, but newcomers to the category will appreciate the upgrades.

The 2024 iPad Mini starts at $499 with 128GB of storage, which was the price for the previous generation’s 64GB model. Electing for 256GB of storage brings the price up to $599, and the cellular models start at $649. These are some big numbers for a small iPad, so the larger iPad Air might be worth considering if you prefer your dollar to go further with more screen real estate. But if you want an Apple tablet in the smallest possible form factor, this is where the action is.

In the past we’ve seen the iPad Mini drop to as low as $349, but right now the 128GB base model with Wi-Fi at Amazon costs $474 ($25 off). If you need additional storage, you can pick up the 256GB variant at Amazon for $569 ($30 off), which is far from its $449 all-time low price.

Apple recently announced a new iPad Air powered by its M4 chip. Like its predecessor, it comes in two sizes — 11 inches and 13 inches — but Apple claims it’s now “up to 30 percent faster.” The new Airs also offer 12GB of RAM, up from 8GB, and feature Apple’s new N1 wireless chip, which adds support for Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 7, and Thread, meaning the tablet should be able to connect faster and more reliably to wireless networks, accessories, and smart home devices.

You can grab the 128GB Wi-Fi model at a discount from multiple retailers right now. Amazon has it for $556.50 ($42 off), which is its best price yet, while Best Buy and Walmart are both selling it for $559 ($40 off). If you need more storage, you can buy the step-up 256GB variant for $646.50 ($53 off) at Amazon and Walmart. If you want a larger display, the 13-inch model is also on sale for $746.50 ($53 off) at Amazon and Walmart, which is its steepest discount yet.

Where to Buy:

<strike>$799</strike> $699 at Walmart (128GB, Wi-Fi)

<strike>$899</strike> $799.99 at Target (256GB, Wi-Fi)

While Apple no longer officially sells last year’s iPad Air, it is still available — and discounted — at various third-party retailers. Right now, the 11-inch model is on sale at Walmart and Target in its base configuration with Wi-Fi and 128GB of storage starting at around $499 ($100 off), while the 256GB model is available at Target for $599.99 ($100 off). However, since the M4 iPad Air currently only cost about $50 more, depending on which you buy, it may make more sense to opt for Apple’s newer model instead.

Although the 2025 iPad is a last-gen model powered by Apple’s older M3 chip with less RAM, it’s still snappy enough that it remains a relatively good purchase in 2026. It offers a few technical upgrades over the entry-level iPad, too, which should allow it to last longer. It features support for Apple Intelligence, plus compatibility with Apple’s latest Magic Keyboard, which has a larger trackpad and an extra row of function keys. In short, the M3 Air remains a credible laptop replacement.

The larger 13-inch model, meanwhile, is on sale at Walmart and Target with Wi-Fi and 128GB of storage starting at $699 ($120 off), which is $50 shy of its best price to date.
While there are some deals floating around for the M4 iPad Pro, we’d argue none of them are particularly noteworthy given the current discounts on the 2025 iPad Pro. Apple’s latest high-end tablet offers a few upgrades over the last-gen model, including a faster M5 chip, a new C1X cellular modem (if you get the cellular version), and an N1 chip that handles Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread. Apple also increased read and write speeds to its memory, and the latest Pro supports fast charging, allowing you to charge it to 50 percent capacity in about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, the step-up model with Wi-Fi and 512GB of storage is down to about $1,399 (also $100 off) at Amazon and Best Buy, while the 1TB model can be had at Amazon for $1,747 ($102 off).

Admittedly, the new iPad Airs aren’t drastically different from their predecessors, but they do stand out due to their performance gains. They now run on Apple’s M4 chip, which Apple says makes them up to 30 percent faster (and over twice as fast as the M1 Air from 2020). The new models also offer 12GB of RAM instead of 8GB, which should help with multitasking and more demanding apps.

In addition, both sizes feature Apple’s new N1 wireless networking chip, enabling Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 for faster connectivity. Said chip also allows for Thread support, meaning it should be easier to connect and control compatible smart home devices from your tablet.

Other than that, though, the new iPad Airs should look familiar. Both support Apple Intelligence, like the 2025 models, along with windowed multitasking and other features unique to iPadOS 26. Battery life looks to be about the same on paper, too, and they’re compatible with the same host of accessories, including the Apple Pencil USB-C, the Apple Pencil Pro, and Apple’s Magic Keyboard.

A few more gadget deals

You can grab Microsoft’s official Xbox Wireless Controller at Amazon in white or black for around $43 ($22 off), which is $5 shy of the all-time low we saw in December. The comfortable gamepad is the one we recommend for most Xbox gamers given its tight sticks and triggers, along with its dish-shaped D-pad, which offers a satisfying clickiness. It runs on AA batteries, too, which adds a level of flexibility since you can swap in rechargeable AAs or a battery pack; it also works as a wired controller over USB-C.

Now through March 8th, Verge readers can pick up Garmin’s 42mm Forerunner 265 at Wellbots for $339 ($111 off) with code THEVERGE110. The terrific wearable features dual-frequency GPS and impressive battery life for an OLED watch, allowing you to eke out up to two weeks on a single charge. It’s also great for runners and offers a wide range of training metrics, from form-related data like stride length to a Race Predictor feature, which estimates how long you might take to finish a marathon or 5K based on your training history.

Anker’s Soundcore AeroFit 2 are available from Amazon, Best Buy, and Soundcore (with code WS7DV2TVUB9E) for around $79.98 ($50 off), which is $10 more than their best price to date. The open-ear headphones make it easy to stay aware of your surroundings, and come with four adjustable ear hooks to help them stay securely in place. They also offer an IP55 rating for water resistance, wireless charging, and up to 10 hours of battery life. What’s really neat, though, is that they support AI-powered translation, allowing you to translate over 100 languages in real-time.

Apple is kicking off March with a flurry of product announcements ahead of a “special Apple experience” on March 4th in New York City, London, and Shanghai.

Apple started on March 2nd by announcing the iPhone 17E. The new $599 phone has a lot of welcome additions over the iPhone 16E, like support for MagSafe charging, doubled base storage of 256GB, and a Ceramic Shield 2 display, all for the same starting price.

The same day, Apple also revealed a new iPad Air powered by an M4 chip, a bump up from the previous version’s M3 chip. March 3rd brought announcements of MacBook Pros with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, the MacBook Air with an M5 chip, and a Studio Display refresh, including a new Mini LED-equipped XDR model. Wednesday morning has arrived with the details of the new MacBook Neo, a $599 laptop powered by an A18 Pro chip design that first launched with the iPhone 16.

Apple’s Magic Keyboard cases offer a fantastic typing experience, elevating the iPad to laptop status with a large trackpad that offers haptic feedback, and an articulating hinge to help you angle the display just right for your comfort. It’s typically a very pricey accessory, but Woot has new / open-box models selling at great discounts for the 11-inch and 13-inch sizing options. The 11-inch Magic Keyboard Case starts at $209.99 for the white version (originally $289.99) while the black keyboard case is $239.99. The retailer only has the white version for the 13-inch Pro, and it costs $249.99 (originally $339).

The only downside here is that these just have a 90-day Woot warranty and aren’t eligible for AppleCare.

Apple Magic Keyboard Case for iPad Pro (M4)

Where to Buy:

<strike>$289</strike> $209.99 at Woot (11-inch)

<strike>$339</strike> $249.99 at Woot (13-inch)

This is the latest iteration of the Magic Keyboard Case, and there are some minor tweaks that weren’t in the original 2020 model. Aside from the aforementioned trackpad that got a size boost, Apple upgraded the palm rest from plastic to aluminum, and it included a function row that makes using your iPad feel more like a MacBook. It features one USB-C port that can be used for power, leaving the tablet’s port available for accessories like add-on storage.

Other Verge-approved deals

Woot has another great deal in the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, which is selling new for $399, beating the lowest price we’ve seen at other retailers by $39. This gadget made waves in the camera market when it launched in 2023, and it became one of our favorite gadgets that year. Despite its age, the Osmo Pocket 3’s specs and performance give it staying power, and it’s still a superior companion for your adventures than most smartphones. The camera can begin recording quickly, it has a clever screen, its gimbal lets you shoot stabilized footage, and it’s easy to use. It made some memorable footage that one of our former staffers captured at WWE SmackDown.

Ultimate Ears’ Everboom is a fantastic Bluetooth speaker if you’re looking for something that can deliver big sound in a portable form factor. It delivers full 360-degree sound, and it can last up to 20 hours per charge. The Everboom can hang outdoors and even in the water with its floatable design and IP67 protection. Our biggest complaint when we reviewed it in mid-2024 is that its list of features was skimpy considering its launch price of $250. But we’re cool with what the Everboom offers at its current price of $159.99 at Amazon (the blue model is $10 more).

If you play games on your PC and are curious to jump into Resident Evil Requiem, you can snag a Steam key through Fanatical for $57.39 ($69.99 elsewhere). This site is always great for a discount, whether it’s a pre-release sale, or just for offering the better price at launch than you’ll find directly on Steam. Requiem is the latest mainline entry in Resident Evil, offering two experiences in one: tense, horror-filled sections with FBI analyst (and RE newcomer) Grace and action-filled sequences featuring franchise-favorite Leon Kennedy. Read our review.
