<p>Welcome back from the holiday! Sometimes it's great to take a break from the internet. I didn't do that, but people always tell me how satisfying it feels to look into the eyes of their loved ones.</p>
<p>Anyway! This has been the week of <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2018/11/28/18116209/knickers-cow-australia-enormous-big-steer-cattle-mewtwo">the big cow</a> (it's <em>actually </em>a steer) and Mark Ruffalo begging the internet to <a href="https://twitter.com/MarkRuffalo/status/1067789526607777794">help him</a> find his lost bag (he did), but the joke that truly proves we've all lost our damn minds is <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BqYN9tvgKKa/?utm_source=ig_embed">surgery on a grape</a>. The 2017 line has, like so many online jokes, returned to be fruitful (lol) …</p>

<p>Once in a while, the internet delivers. The memes aren't just good and plenty, but timely. Clever. Disturbing in the best way. Sort of like with the <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2018/11/12/18088074/pokemon-detective-pikachu-movie-trailer-live-action">Detective Pikachu trailer</a>, which spun off its very own meme cycle. <p><em>Welcome to Fav'd For Later, a Friday roundup of our favorite memes, trends, and all-around good internet content. This week, the internet asks: is this your queen?</em></p>
<p>When did the <em>Super Mario</em> fandom <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2018/1/9/16854804/mario-odyssey-nipple-speedrun">get</a> <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2018/9/21/17878420/memes-donald-trump-toad-eevee-lady-gaga-ashvlogs">so</a><a href="https://www.avclub.com/luigi-definitely-has-a-dick-and-its-3-7-inches-flaccid-1823832544"> horny</a>? Has it always been this way? Did everyone lose their damn minds when we saw <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2018/2/5/16974644/nintendo-super-mario-odyssey-nipples-toad-head">Mario's nipples</a>? I didn't start this fire. I'm just here to fan its flames.</p>
<p>Earlier this month, Nintendo held a Direct presentation where learned that Toadette can transform into a Princess Peach-like character (<a href="https://www.polygon.com/2018/9/14/17860768/peachette-new-super-mario-bros-u-investigation">aptly named Peachette</a>) when she wears the Super Crown. Webcomic author <a href="https://twitter.com/ayyk92/status/1042465252221181954">Haniwa</a> applied this logic to Bowser, and so <a href="https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/bowsette">Bowsette was born</a>.</p>

<p>The internet was abuzz this week with Dong Talk&trade;. If you missed the flurry around Donald Trump and Toad - <a href="https://www.theverge.com/2018/9/18/17874054/mario-kart-toad-donald-trump-stormy-daniels-full-disclosure-memoir">yes, <em>that one</em></a><em> </em>- then consider yourself lucky.
