Everybody wants to save big during major deals events like Amazon Prime Day, but the little purchases are often the ones we end up using all the time. Whether it’s a quality HDMI 2.1 or USB-C cable, a convenient charger for your phone, or a quirky little accessory you never knew you needed — nothing beats a great deal on something affordable that you get tons of use from.

However, there’s a plethora of crap on sale at these prices, too, which is why we sifted through all the remaining dreck Amazon drummed up during Prime Day to find a handful of excellent deals you can still get. Sure, not all of the items here are discounted as low as they were during Prime Day, but if you’re looking to be extra frugal, there are still plenty of deals to be had on see-through chargers, smart speakers, and more.

Update July 13th, 7:32PM ET: Dell’s discount on the Xbox Series X is no longer available, though, it’s unclear whether it’s temporarily sold out — as was the case during Prime Day — or if Dell is simply no longer offering it.

It’s not often we see sold-out Amazon Prime Day deals suddenly resurrect from the dead less than a day after the event ended, never mind on a console like the Xbox Series X. That’s why it’s worth jumping on this rare deal while it’s still around. Right now, you can pick up Microsoft’s next-gen console on sale at Dell for $449.99 ($50 off).

Unlike the smaller Xbox Series S, the Series X features a built-in Blu-ray drive, allowing you to play both physical games and digital titles. It’s equipped with 1TB of storage — twice that of the Series S — and more processing power, which, combined with the console’s support for 120Hz gaming, make it a noticeable step up from Microsoft’s entry-level system. It’s also a great way to tap into one of the best deals in gaming, aka Xbox Game Pass, along with forthcoming exclusives like Starfield, which is set to arrive in the fall.

Amazon Prime Day may now officially be a thing of the past, but that doesn’t mean all the deals have disappeared. In fact, not only are there still some deals kicking around, but some are just as budget-friendly as they were before. There are a variety of gadgets and gizmos on sale, too, from fitness trackers like the Amazfit Band 7 to streaming devices like Google’s 4K-ready Chromecast, all of which you can buy for under $50.

Below, we’ve rounded up an assortment of cheap Prime Day deals you can still get. While some are only available to Amazon Prime members, in some cases, retailers are matching those prices, so there should be a deal available to everybody if you poke around.

The best Prime Day deals for under $50

  • The physical version of the tactical RPG Octopath Traveler II is on sale at Amazon for $44.99 ($15 off) for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. You can also pick up a Nintendo Switch version at Target for $44.99.
  • Speaking of tactical RPGs, you can also buy Tactics Ogre: Reborn for around $32 ($22 off) for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 at Amazon.
  • Amazon Prime members can buy the Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip, which comes with three smart outlets and two USB ports, for $24.99 ($5 off) with the on-page coupon. It’s both Alexa- and Google Home-compatible.
  • If you’d like a smart plug that’s compatible with Google Assistant-enabled devices, you can buy a four-pack of Kasa Smart Plugs for $25.99 when you clip the respective on-page coupon.

We’ve now endured two whole days of Amazon Prime Day, which had us poring over thousands of deals and covering hundreds of the best the tech world had to offer — and yet, we’re not quite done here.

As usual, there are still a bunch of lingering discounts to sift through. So if you didn’t yet blow your entire budget on gadgets like wireless earbuds, tablets, e-readers, video games, or fancy smart home accessories, well, there’s still time to make that happen.

Below are the best remaining Prime Day deals for 2023, the stubborn ones that just won’t go quietly into the night, still vying for your hard-earned money. It’s your final chance to consider that big or small purchase and decide whether you’re pulling the trigger or holding out for something better to come along.

After all, Black Friday is only 133 days away.

Apple deals

  • If you prefer a pair of noise-canceling headphones over a set of true wireless earbuds, you can also buy Apple’s AirPods Max for $449.99 ($100 off) at Amazon. Along with a premium build quality and terrific sound, the headphones feature a natural-surrounding transparency mode. Read our review.

  • The Beats Powerbeats Pro are still $149.95 (about $100 off) at Amazon a substantial. They may be a little older (released in 2019), but if you want your earbuds to stay in during the most rigorous of workouts it’s hard to deny the stability of the Powerbeats’ ear hooks. Read our review.

  • Nomad is still running a site-wide 30 percent off sale on its standard edition in-stock smartphone and wearable accessories — including its Apple Watch straps and MagSafe chargers.
  • Casetify’s storefront on Amazon is still offering up to 35 percent off many of its phone cases. For example, you can get the Casetify Essential iPhone 14 case in all manner of colorful patterns for $29.25 (about $16 off) if you’re a Prime subscriber.

Laptops and computing

  • Logitech’s StreamCam is now $129.99 ($40 off) at Amazon. It’s a fine 1080p webcam for everything from videoconferencing to Twitch streaming, even if its USB-C cable being permanently attached is slightly annoying. Read our webcam buying guide.
  • The Elgato Collapsible Green Screen Chrome Key Panel is on sale at Best Buy and Amazon for $117.99 ($42 off).
  • The orb-like Creative Pebble Pro are down to $54.99 ($5 off) on Amazon if you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive alternative to your computer’s built-in speakers. The basic speakers feature Bluetooth, a 3.5mm input, and subtle lighting on the bottom, which you can easily turn off if you’re not a fan of the RGB aesthetic.
  • MSI’s 17.3-inch GF Series laptop with a 12th Gen Intel 12700H CPU, RTX 3050 Ti GPU, 16GB of RAM, 512GB SSD, and 144Hz 1080p display is on sale at Newegg for $799 ($100 off).
  • For an all-AMD entry-level gaming laptop from MSI, you can get the 15.6-inch MSI Bravo with Ryzen 7 5800H CPU, Radeon RX6500M GPU, 16GB of RAM, 512GB SSD, and 144Hz 1080p screen for $699.99 ($200 off) at Best Buy.

  • You can buy a physical copy of the new Dead Space, the remake of the 2008 sci-fi horror game, for the PlayStation 5 for $34.99 ($35 off) at Target.
  • The Last of Us Part I for PlayStation 5 is on sale for $49.99 ($20 off) at Amazon.
  • Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut for PS4 and PS5 is $29.99 ($40 off) at Amazon.
  • No Man’s Sky is available at Amazon for around $39.99 (about $20 off) for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
  • The PlayStation 5 version of The Nioh Collection, which contains both of Team Ninja’s challenging Souls-like action-adventure games Nioh and Nioh 2, is on sale for $29.99 ($40 off) at Amazon.
  • Microsoft’s standard Xbox Wireless Controller is on sale starting at $46.99 ($13 off) at Amazon. The stock controller of the Xbox Series X / S is great for anyone gaming on Xbox or PC, though if you’re not a fan of its AA batteries, you can also get the Remix special-edition Xbox controller in a unique Earth-themed green colorway with a rechargeable battery pack for $71.63 ($14 off).
  • The Nacon Pro Compact controller is on sale for $20.48 (about $28 off) in black at Amazon. It may be a wired controller that’s best fit for slightly smaller hands, but it offers a number of customizable options with lots of software tweaks.
  • A $50 Nintendo Switch eShop gift card is $45 ($5 off) at Newegg through today when you use promo code SSCUA322. A Nintendo Switch Online subscriber can use two to buy Nintendo’s $100 digital game vouchers and shave even more off the cost of some full-price games.

Chargers

  • Google’s latest Pixel Stand is available for $59 ($20 off) at Amazon for Prime members. The second-gen Qi charger works best when paired with newer Pixel models, which are able to take advantage of speedy wireless charging speeds and a few more unique features — including the ability to act as an impromptu photo frame when docked.   • The Joseph Joseph Garlic Rocker seems like just a simple curved piece of metal with holes in it, but it’s one of the easiest and most effective ways to mince garlic. It’s on sale at Amazon for $19.99 ($4 off).
  • The retro-inspired Polaroid Now Plus is down to $93 ($57 off) at Amazon for Prime Day, its all-time low. There are many, many deals going on during Amazon Prime Day, even now well into day two. But these sub-$100 deals right here are the Goldilocks of Prime Day deals — not too pricey and not too cheap. They’re that perfect balance of a good value that’s likely to still get you buzzing with anticipation for when the package arrives in the mail.

So what can $100 get you in the world of tech? Quite a lot, actually. There’s smart home stuff like a very capable smart display, an excellent e-reader for diving into more books than you can read in a lifetime, a mobile game controller for your iPhone, a desktop mic that’s a favorite among podcasters and Twitch streamers, and a whole lot more.

Here are some of the best Prime Day deals for a cool Benjamin.

Tablet and e-reader deals

  • The ad-supported 2021 Amazon Fire HD 10 is on sale starting at $74.99 (half off) at Amazon for Prime members. The budget-friendly tablet offers a nice 1080p display along with 3GB of RAM, which is more than enough if you plan on using the device for streaming or reading. Read our review.
  • Alternatively, you can pick up the even cheaper 2022 Fire HD 8 starting at $54.99 ($45 off) at Amazon if you’re a Prime member. The slate’s display isn’t as crisp as the Fire HD 10’s, but this is otherwise a perfectly decent entertainment device if you’re on a budget with long battery life. Read our Fire HD 8 Plus review.

Smart home deals

  • Prime members can buy the Blink Mini for half off — $17.50 — at Amazon. The mountable home security camera comes with a ball-and-socket mount as well as a USB-C cable, though you’ll have to pay extra for cloud storage if you don’t already have a Blink subscription. Read our review.
  • Google’s Nest Thermostat may be a little basic when it comes to features, but it’s currently on sale for just $84.99 ($45 off) at Amazon, making it a little easier to forgive its simpler setup. It’s fine for controlling your home HVAC from your phone, but it doesn’t adapt to your behavior like Google’s fancier Learning Thermostat. Read our review.
  • The Amazon Smart Thermostat is on sale for $55.99 at Amazon for Prime members. The smart thermostat offers a lot of value for its price and is capable of learning and adapting to your habits like more expensive rivals can. Read our review.
  • Prime members can pick up a single Nanoleaf Matter Essentials A19 bulb for $15.99 ($4 off) from Amazon. If you have a Matter controller and Thread border router, the smart bulb should work with any platform.

  • Jabra’s Elite 4 Active are on sale starting at $66.49 (about $54 off) at Amazon. The durable, gym-friendly pair of wireless earbuds feature a bevy of solid features for the price, including good sound, active noise cancellation, a waterproof design, and what has become a welcome hallmark of most Jabra earbuds in recent years: multipoint Bluetooth support.
  • If you’re not a fan of wireless earbuds, Sennheiser’s ultra-comfy IE 200 are matching their all-time low of $94.95 ($55 off) on Amazon right now. Not only do the in-ear monitors offer clean, detailed sound, but they also come with a detachable braided cable and six sets of ear tips. Read our review.

  • Ever feel like playing the Nintendo Switch in handheld mode is a little uncomfortable? Try Hori’s Split Pad Comfort, which replaces the stock Joy-Cons with larger — but not gigantic — grips that are comfier to hold during longer sessions. Amazon is selling the Split Pad Comfort in red for $40.99 ($9 off), gray and yellow for $41.99 ($8 off), or with a Pokémon design depicting either Pikachu for $47.99 ($12 off) or Gengar for $51.99 ($8 off). Just keep in mind that these cute controllers lack rumble and Amiibo support.

  • The lightweight Fitbit Charge 5, one of our favorite Fitbit trackers, is on sale at Amazon for $99.95 ($50 off), matching its lowest price yet. It’s a nice bit of hardware overall, with long battery life, a bright OLED screen, and the ability to handle all the usual heart rate and activity tracking you’d expect in a capable fitness band. Extras and goodies also under $100

  • The retro-inspired Polaroid Now Plus is down to $93 ($57 off) at Amazon for Prime Day, its all-time low. As mentioned in our guide to the best instant cameras, the Now Plus is tailored toward those who are a fan of the old-fashioned instant-film experience, one that takes a heavy cue from the classic Polaroid 600 of yesteryear. 
  • The Petcube Bites 2 Lite is on sale at Amazon for $79.96 (about $69 off). It’s got a lot of similar features to the Furbo 360 for less — including a 1080p camera, two-way audio, and a built-in treat dispenser — but it offers a wider field of view and better digital zoom. The tradeoff, however, is that it doesn’t swivel.

Amazon Prime Day may be almost done, but you can still save on a bunch of gadgets spanning a range of categories. If you’re in the market for a good laptop deal, though, this is where you’ll find them all.

Despite it being the waning hours of Prime Day, a bunch of different laptops of all shapes and sizes are still on sale at Amazon, from Apple devices and Windows PCs to even gaming laptops. But not all deals are created equal (and there are some truly bad ones out there), so we’ve picked out the best bargains right here.

Best Prime Day deals on Windows laptops

  • The Surface Laptop 5 is one of the best laptops for most people, especially if you’re looking for something thin and light that’s painless to carry around. You can currently get it for as low as $899; Best Buy has marked the Core i5 / 8GB / 256GB model down 10 percent from its original price of $999.99.
  • The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro is going for as low as $999 at Best Buy. That’s the AMOLED / Core i7 / 16GB / 512GB model, down from an original price of $1,349.99. Plenty of others are on sale over on Amazon as well.
  • If you’ve always wanted one of those fancy-looking laptops with two screens, today’s your lucky day. Asus’ Zenbook Pro Duo 15 is on sale for $1,299.99 ($1000 off). That’s quite an affordable price for what’s generally considered to be a luxury form factor. Just so we’re clear, I take no responsibility for frustrations with the tiny touchpad you may have if you buy this device.

Best MacBook Prime Day Deals

In general, newly released MacBooks do not see incredible discounts compared to other laptops on Prime Day. But we do sometimes see solid discounts on older MacBook models, which can be a great option for shoppers seeking something fast and affordable.

  • The 13-inch MacBook Pro with M2 is discounted all over the place at Best Buy. For example, you can get the 256GB / 8GB model for $1,099, down from $1,299. Neat!
  • The MacBook Air with M1 has a few discounted models at Best Buy. The 8GB / 256GB model is $749.99, 25 percent down from its original price of $999.99. Bear in mind: this laptop is three years old now, so it’s not the one to buy if you want the latest and greatest hardware (and it’s certainly not one to buy at full price). Still, compared to other devices you can get for $749.99, this will afford you very solid build quality and remarkable speed.
  • The 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max remains a great choice for professionals in video, animation, and other creative fields who want to save a few bucks over the more recent M2 Pro models. Quite a few models are on sale at Best Buy, including the M1 Pro / 16GB / 512GB configuration, which is $1,998.99 (down from a $2,499 MSRP).

Best Prime Day deals on convertibles

  • There aren’t really a ton of good convertible laptops these days, which is a shame for folks who like to flippy flip. But there is this one. The Surface Pro 9, our favorite detachable Windows laptop, is down to $858.00 on Amazon from its original price of $1,099.99.

Budget picks

  • The 14-inch HP 14 (AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage) is down to $426 from $569.99.
  • The HP Pavilion Plus 14 (13th Generation Intel Core i7-1355U, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD), one of our favorite budget laptops, is down to $1,099.99 from $1,299.99.
  • A few different configurations of the Acer Aspire 5 are on sale today. This 16GB/512GB one is for $549.99, down from $636.66.
  • The Acer Swift X is down to $629.99 from its usual price of $920. Considering that it contains a discrete Nvidia GPU (and it’s an RTX 3050 Ti, not one of those MX ones for babies), this is a solid option for amateur creators or gamers who are shopping on a tight budget. Note that this deal is limited to one per customer, in case you were thinking of trying anything nefarious.

Gaming laptop Prime Day deals

  • The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, our favorite gaming laptop on the market today, has a whole bunch of models on sale. This one, with 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage, is $1,199.99, down from $1,899.99. If you, like me, have been really wanting to buy one of these things but keep putting it off, this discount may be the kick in the pants you need. You know what, I’ll be right back.
  • The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3, one of the most affordable gaming laptops out there, is $599.99, down from $899.99.
  • The HP Victus 15, our favorite budget gaming laptop, is down to $679.99 from $899.99 at Best Buy.
  • Go ahead and grab a Razer Blade 15 for $1,922.99 (originally $2,999.99) if that’s your thing. You have my permission.
  • If you’d prefer something a little smaller, you might instead consider the Razer Blade 14. Note that this is last year’s Ryzen 6000 model, not the spiffy new one that just came out, but that certainly makes its price easier to stomach. This one is $2,299.99, 34 percent down from its $3,499.99 list price.

Good evening. It’s still Prime Day. Maybe we’ll be stuck in Prime Day forever (jkjk, there are only a few hours left). Since we’re here, please enjoy these deals on smart home devices. They are for sale. Please. Amazon Prime Day 2023, day two.

There are some pretty good deals on robot vacuums and smart bulbs and so forth. Got a couple of cameras in here, a video doorbell or two. Smart locks. The Google Nest Wifi Pro mesh router thing that looks like it has a candy coating, which I regret to inform you is just plastic. The new Nanoleaf Matter bulbs are on sale! They’re pretty. Other deals occur as well. But they’ll end, as all things eventually do.

Before you buy any smart home device, make sure it works with the smart home platforms and the phone ecosystems you already use. Matter makes this easier — kind of, but also kind of not. There’s also a lot of junk out there! Here’s some stuff that’s actually worth buying.

Robot vacuums

Here’s the thing: robot vacuums are always on sale, and Prime Day isn’t necessarily the best time to buy one. In fact, the iRobot Roomba J7 Plus, our favorite robot vacuum, is slightly more expensive on Prime Day than it was just a few weeks ago, while the regular J7 is down from $599 to $399 — but it hits that price every few weeks. That said, these deals ain’t bad:

  • The iRobot Roomba i4 EVO, a slight upgrade to our budget robot vacuum pick, is down to $199.99 at Amazon from an MSRP of $399.99. Pretty good!
  • The Roborock Q Revo, our new favorite midrange vacuum / mop hybrid, is $699.99, $200 off list and $100 off the regular sale price. It does everything well but doesn’t have AI obstacle avoidance, which will run you about $300 more right now.
  • The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is a top-of-the-line self-cleaning vacuum / mop combo. It’s down to $1,059 from $1,400, as it has been for most of the month. < OOS 1:33 PM CT

Smart plugs, bulbs, and switches

Doorbell cameras

The Nest Doorbell Wired (second gen) is the best video doorbell camera for most people, especially if you use Google Home or Amazon Alexa. It has 24/7 recording and reliable alerts, and it’s down to $149.99 from $179.99.

Other good video doorbell options:

  • $100 off the battery-powered Eufy Dual plus HomeBase hub ($159.99, down from $259.99). It has two cameras — one for faces, one for doorstep package alerts — and it doesn’t require a monthly fee for alerts or video storage.

It’s that time of year again. Amazon Prime Day kicked off in earnest yesterday and will last for several more hours. As an Amazon event, naturally, some of the best discounts you can still get are on Amazon’s own devices. As expected, the retailer is offering some steep discounts on some of its newest smart speakers and e-readers, as well as Amazon-branded TVs, streaming devices, smart displays, and various Fire tablets.

We’ve rounded up some of the best deals available below, many of which are set to expire later this evening when Prime Day officially wraps. Thankfully, until then, there are plenty of great discounts to go around.

The best Prime Day TV and streaming device deals

  • Amazon’s last-gen Fire TV Omni lineup is also on sale. Right now, for instance, Prime members can buy the 55-inch model for $429.99 ($120 off). If you’d like support for Dolby Vision, Prime members can also buy the 75-inch for $719.99 ($330 off). The prior model can’t display artwork when idle and is not as capable as the newer QLED series, but it still integrates well with Alexa.   • Amazon’s cheaper 4K TVs are also on sale. You can, for example, buy the 43-inch Fire TV 4-Series for $229.99 ($140 off) if you’re a Prime member. The lineup doesn’t offer hands-free voice control or two-way video calling, but it does support HDR10 and Alexa integration.
  • The basic Fire TV 2 Series lineup is also on sale. Prime members can, for instance, buy the 32-inch Fire TV 2-Series – which features 720p resolution – for $129.99 ($70 off), while the 1080p, 40-inch model is down to $189.99 ($60 off) for Prime members. Neither TV supports 4K resolution, but they could be a decent option if you’re looking for a cheap, small-screen TV.
  • Prime members can pick up the Alexa Voice Remote Pro — which offers backlighting, two customizable buttons, and a helpful remote finder feature — for $27.99 ($7 off). Read our review.

  • Prime members can buy the new Echo Buds on sale for $34.99 ($15 off) at Amazon. The wireless earbuds don’t offer active noise cancellation, but they do feature hands-free Alexa and a semi-open design that should allow you to hear things around you well.
  • Prime members can pick up the fourth-gen Echo, which offers good sound quality and a built-in smart home hub, with a Sengled smart bulb for $54.99 ($60 off) on Amazon. Read our review.
  • Amazon’s Echo Studio is available to Prime members bundled with a free Sengled smart bulb right now for $154.99 ($59.99 off). The older smart speaker can’t compete with newer offerings from Sonos and other brands, but it still offers exceptional sound quality with Dolby Atmos support. Read our review.

The best Prime Day Kindle deals

  • The ad-free Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, which is similar to the standard model but features support for wireless charging and a few other added incentives, is on sale just for Prime members. Right now, you can buy it with a wireless charging dock and leather cover for $167.97 ($97 off).
  • Amazon’s ad-supported Kindle Oasis is on sale for $164.99 ($85 off) with 8GB of storage. You can also buy the same model with a fabric cover and power adapter for $200.97 ($139 off). The 2019 e-reader lacks support for USB-C, unlike the Kindle Paperwhite, but it does come with physical page-turning buttons. Read our review.

  • The new Amazon Fire Max 11 is on sale with a keyboard case and stylus for $149.99 at Amazon. The productivity-focused tablet features a punchy 11-inch display and more power than other Fire tablets, but it still doesn’t compete with one of Apple’s entry-level iPads. Read our review.
  • If you want an even cheaper tablet, the latest Amazon Fire 7 is on sale at Amazon for $39.99 ($20 off) with ads and 16GB of storage. The slate offers long battery life and a lower-resolution display than that of the Fire HD 8, yet one that’s also better than its predecessor’s. Read our review.

  • Blink is also discounting its outdoor security camera, the third-gen Blink Outdoor, which supports motion detection and can capture 1080p video. A wireless, three-camera kit is on sale right now at Amazon with a Sync Module 2 for $104.99 ($145 off), or you can buy a single camera for $49.99 ($50 off).
  • Prime members can buy the battery-powered Ring Stick Up Cam for $59.99 ($40 off). The 1080p camera can be used inside and outside; it also comes with support for two-way talk, motion detection, and color night vision.

If you felt left out of Amazon Prime Day this year because you’re not a Prime member, it’s understandable. Watching everyone else quickly grab deals you don’t have access to can inspire a major case of FOMO. The good news is, however, that other retailers are still offering their own competing sales even despite the fact Prime Day is nearly over. Many don’t require you to pony up for a premium subscription, either.

Right now, for example, retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Target are holding their own sales events and offering some good deals on noise-canceling headphones, robot vacuums, and other gadgets. In fact, in some cases, they’re actually matching Amazon’s day two prices. There are a lot of deals available, but we’ve gone ahead and rounded up some of the very best below.
