After launching the Bold 9930 a couple weeks ago, Verizon’s now preparing to send out its second BlackBerry 7-powered device, the Torch 9850, this Thursday for $199.99 on a new two-year contract. This one acts as the spiritual successor to the Storm 2 thanks to a 3.7-inch full-touch WVGA design, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon core, 5-megapixel camera, and support for global HSPA roaming (though you won’t find any LTE here).
