Sure, obsessively reading sites like The Setup in the hope that a writer, designer, or star coder will share that special, radically underrated app that would radically improve our productivity might be a bit misguided—we could just get back to work—but occasionally we stumble on some gems. The site posted an interview today with writer William Gibson, known for cyberpunk classic Neuromancer and more recently Zero History, and he's intriguingly disinterested in the latest hardware and software. He notes that he's "hopelessly lost in Windows," but still uses an old Sony Ericsson phone for its texting prowess.
