Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash in pictures

Timed to coincide with the Asia D conference today, Microsoft has unveiled new photos of the Samsung Focus S and Samsung Flash. Andy Lees, Microsoft's president for the Windows Phone division, briefly showed both devices at the event, pointing out the new features available in the Mango update. Both phones were previously announced along with the HTC Titan (which Lees also had at the event), with the somewhat vague availability date of sometime in the fourth quarter.

The Focus S is definitely the more impressive of the two devices, with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1.4 GHz CPU, and an 8-megapixel camera. Now that we can see the phone, the Focus S is a bit more curved than we expected after spending so much time with the original Focus. It also sports Samsung's classic "teardrop" bump on the bottom-rear of the phone. The Focus Flash, meanwhile, will be a lower-end device with a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1.4GHz processor, and a 5-megapixel camera. The Flash is a bit more angular, but has a slightly curved edge on the back to make it easier to hold in the hand.
