We heard two weeks ago the Sony A65's release date was being delayed, but after severe flooding in Thailand, both the new DSLR and Sony's upcoming NEX-7 are being pushed back even further. Lens kits for the Sony NEX-5N and NEX-C3 were also delayed, as well as a number of headphone models. All were due to be released in Japan in November, but the company didn't give a timeline for when its two affected Thai plants would be operational, or when the cameras could be expected to hit the market. It's not immediately clear how this affects US availability, but it's safe to say there'll be a delay stateside as well. The company is apparently considering moving product to a different plant in Thailand, which is still operating normally, but even that would likely take some time.
