Sony's kicking the week off with some laptop refreshes and the availability of the 15-inch SE it announced back in early September. Just as we heard back at its IFA debut, the SE has the same beautiful full HD (1920 x 1080-resolution) display as the VAIO Z, and an optional slice battery, like the 13-inch SA. However, Sony's been able to keep this one under $1,000 — the basic configuration includes that high-res display, a 2.4GHz Core i5 CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, and an AMD Radeon 6470M GPU. But Sony couldn't have the smaller 13-inch SA ringing up at a higher price point — as of today, the SA is available for $1,000 (down from $1,200) and with some new Sandy Bridge processor options, including a 2.4GHz Core i5 and 2.8GHz Core i7.

In addition to those thin and light S Series laptops, the VAIO C, E, and F notebooks, as well as the 24-inch VAIO L all-in-one have been given some fresh Sandy Bridge innards. Check out the source link for all the specs.
