Sakar licenses Nerf for electronic toy lineup

Now that Hasbro has signed a licensing deal with electronic toy maker / perennial Hello Kitty licensor Sakar, Nerf is expanding from foam blasters and dart guns (and Wii accessories!) to night vision goggles and walkie talkies. The signature yellow foam will also be used on 2.1- and 5.1-megapixel digital cameras, a digital helmet cam, 2GB MP3 player, 2GB flash drive, and even a multi-function flashlight. Your neighborhood kids will be better equipped for Nerf attacks beginning this November in the U.S. and Canada. The lineup will initially only be sold at Toys ‘R Us, with prices ranging from $19.99 to $59.99. Sakar is currently exhibiting the products at this week’s Dallas Toy Fair.
