Sprint didn’t even wait to actually announce the Sprint Express before showing the phone off on its YouTube channel. The video shows the phone off from every direction, highlighting the phone’s combination of a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.6-inch touchscreen, and Android-based customization features. It’s the spitting image of the Huawei Boulder, which was released internationally in the spring and now appears to be headed stateside. The BlackBerry-style handset is running Gingerbread, and has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera. PocketNow reports the Express’ processor is getting a slight bump to 600MHz, and if it keeps the Boulder’s spec sheet we’ll see the same 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage. This clearly isn’t a power user’s phone, but if you loved your BlackBerry’s keyboard before switching to a better OS, it looks like a solid alternative.
