Looks like Acer isn’t settling for a single Tegra 3 slate. Just three days after the Iconia Tab A510 was spotted with Nvidia’s latest silicon, it’s apparently getting a higher-res cousin in the Iconia Tab A700. The real story here isn’t the chip, though, but rather that the user agent profile documents (spotted by HDBlog.it) suggest that this tablet will have a practically unheard of 1920 x 1200 resolution screen, possibly giving it not only 1080p video playback potential but also a 16:10 aspect ratio like other Android 3.0+ slates. Many current 10-inch Android slates run at 1280 x 800, also 16:10, but higher-res panels have typically tended towards 16:9 recently. Like the earlier leaks, there are UAProfs here for both the A700 and also an A701, which suggest that the slate will have a cellular cousin. We’re looking out for more details, and we’ll let you know when we get them.
