The fix for the Galaxy Nexus' volume bug in the UK is now out and ready to download. Only thing is it's not coming from Google or Samsung, but from our good friend Paul O'Brien over at MoDaCo. He describes the software as the official version undergoing internal testing and has put together new ROMs integrating the fix (there's both a stock and a custom enhanced version). As usual with custom ROMs, we advise making sure you know what you're doing before you start flashing your device. Paul says that the tweaked boot images work great, but that doesn't guarantee they won't cause your phone to go thermonuclear.
