The gadget teardown wizards over at iFixit have turned their attention to the just-released Galaxy Nexus, and the analysis is now online — needless to say, the presence of an NFC-capable battery pack, a barometer, and a 720p Super AMOLED display (among other notable features) are all keeping things interesting. It looks like gaining access to the circuitry isn’t terribly hard, but you’ll need to be comfortable prying at things to make it happen — considering the amount of prying involved with the phone’s battery cover, that shouldn’t be a problem. Bear in mind this is the GSM version of the phone we’re looking at here, so hopefully iFixit will revisit this little project once Verizon’s thicker, faster LTE version finally becomes available.
