iPad 2 available for $399 at some TJ Maxx stores tomorrow?

A tipster has let us know that TJ Maxx, purveyor of fine clothing, is supposedly going to have a door-buster sale tomorrow: the 16GB Wi-Fi iPad 2 for $399. Apparently, supplies will be limited, likely to around 15 per store, so each location is likely to sell out fairly early. The deal recapitulates the same sale TJ Maxx held last year for the original iPad, right down to the $100 discount (which may or may not have been anything more than a publicity stunt instead of an actual sale given the small quantities actually in stock).

There are a couple Twitter posts about the deal out there, but calling various stores around the country we haven’t gotten a solid confirmation from a rep directly yet, so there’s a good chance not all stores will have the deal. In other words, it’s worth a quick call to your local store before you make the trip.
