Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima has taken to Twitter to offer a glimpse of an as-yet unannounced special edition 3DS that features an embossed faux snakeskin exterior. The console is a collaboration developed to coincide with the release of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, due in March. Existing 3DS owners needn’t feel entirely left out; the upcoming MGS accessory pack includes custom stickers they can slap on their device, though that option comes off as decidedly less cool than this new, special edition model. For those willing to wait, Kojima hints that pricing and further details will be shared on January 20th.
