A YouTuber by the username of BD594 has turned a set of old computer gear into a fully fledged cover band, using it to perform a highly credible version of The Animals’ House Of The Rising Sun. There are no external samples or audio effects, the entire music composition is derived from the beautiful noise generated by a HP Scanjet 3P scanner, two oscilloscopes, and an exposed hard drive platter serving as the drums. It’s a beautiful, nostalgia-inducing experience and you can savor it for yourself just below. As a bonus, we’ve also added BD594’s earlier effort at computer-generated music in the form of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
