iPhone 4S launching in Brazil, Russia, other countries December 16th

Apple continues to sell the iPhone 4S on a reservation basis at its stores here in the US, but a lack of supply isn’t stopping the company from continuing with the next wave of international launch plans. Carrier announcements point to Brazil, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Taiwan as being among the countries expected to join the mix on December 16th — though Apple has yet to make anything official. For those that simply can’t wait, the gray market may be worth a look. There are already reports of enterprising vendors selling the device ahead of the street date for a hefty sum, but if you’re more the MSRP type, be prepared to wait in line like the rest of us.
