Popular Mac email client Sparrow (which is coming soon to iOS) has been updated to version 1.5, adding Dropbox, image blocking, and improved search. Dropbox integration works just like it does for CloudApp, automatically syncing to the cloud and pasting a public link into your message when you drag and drop a file onto it. You can also keep spam and unwanted newsletters from showing images by designating trusted senders, or choosing to let pictures appear just once. Improved search uses “Gmail-like tokens” so you can search by label, subject, sender, and other search terms. The 1.5 update is free if you already use a full copy of Sparrow, otherwise you can buy it for $9.99 at the App Store, or go with the ad-supported lite version.
