It’s been been months since we saw it at IFA, but the Toshiba Excite has finally been given a North American release window: MobileSyrup says the ultra-thin tablet is coming to Canada in February 2012, but there’s still no pricing info. Toshiba’s list of specs for its new flagship tablet are unchanged, so we’re still expecting the 7.7mm-thin device to house a 10.1-inch screen with a 1280x800 resolution, a TI OMAP 4430 core at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel front camera and a 2-megapixel rear camera, and the option of 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. Sadly, the Excite is still operating on Android 3.2, even though Toshiba said it planned on adding Android 4.0 when it became available — but hopefully by February they’ll make the switch.
