The good folks at Coby are going to be introducing not three, not four, but five new tablets running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at the Consumer Electronics Show in January. The 7-inch MID7042, 8-inch MID8042, 9-inch MID9042, 9.7-inch MID9742, and 10-inch MID1042 will all have 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processors, 1GB of RAM, expandable memory up to 32GB, and 1080p video output. The 8-inch and 9.7-inch models will both have 4:3 aspect ratios, but we don't have size and weight specs to share with you at this point. These tablets will be among the first to run Android 4.0 when they arrive in Q1 2012, but will Coby’s usual sub-par hardware ruin what we expect to be a much-improved OS? We’ll let you know when we get to Vegas.
