These pieces by Japanese design group Tymote aren’t exactly new (they were first released some months ago), but the quality of work here still makes them worth bringing up. The animations evoke something between a road trip and an early video game; when projected around a stationary cyclist as seen below, they’re surprisingly immersive. The videos here are “Jetcoaster Romance” and “Holiday Cycling” respectively — check them out for a trip through neon-colored pastorals, floating pyramids, and polygonal volcanoes.
