Let the parade of hackneyed headings begin: Google’s now rolling out a photo text tool for Google+ that will allow users to flood their circles with original memes. The tool uses the big, black-bordered white text that usually accompanies memes, and users can create new memes by dropping a photo into Google+‘s sharebox and then clicking the “add text” button. The update should arrive sometime in the next few days, but if you’re anxious for memes in the meantime, feel free to visit nearly any other website on the internet.

In a separate update, Google’s Chris Messina announced that Google+ will be adding hashtag autocomplete — now, when entering hashtags, Google+ will provide recommendations. It looks similar to how Google’s autocomplete feature works in search, and it should be rolling out immediately.
