We’d seen quite a few pictures, but now it’s official: LG’s bringing another Android 3.2 tablet to Korea. This one’s called the Optimus Pad LTE, and as you might expect from the name, it’ll have speedy cellular connectivity in its land of origin, as well as a 8.9-inch, 1280 x 768 IPS LCD display and a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The slate is 9.34mm thin, weighs 1.1 pounds and has only a single pair of cameras on board, unlike its 3D predecessor: one two-megapixel imager for front-facing shots, and an 8-megapixel camera around back. There’s also 32GB of onboard storage, an SD card slot that can support up to 32GB more, a 6,800mAh battery, and DLNA support. HDMI is also promised, but from the pictures and details we have, we can’t really tell you whether it’s a full-sized one. Given the thickness of the tablet we’d presume it’s a mini or micro HDMI socket. We’re also afraid we can’t tell you when it’ll arrive or how much it will cost. So far, the company merely says the Optimus Pad is “initially launching in Korea.”

Update: LG tells us the Optimus Pad LTE will be out in Korea next week, and will go on sale for 880,000 won, or about $772 in US currency.
