The battle between tech and humans is nothing new to us, though usually we’re trying to pry our eyes away from our Twitter feed, not running away from a flying camera. The latter’s precisely what happened to Iowa receiver Marvin McNutt Jr. at the Insight Bowl college football game on Saturday. ESPN’s remote-controlled Skycam fell from the sky towards the end of the game, and the ensuing tangle of wires caught a few players. McNutt (wearing the white number 7 jersey) thankfully left the encounter with merely a scratch. A little Truman Show, don’t you think?
