Amazon has released a software update to version 5.0.3 for the Kindle Touch. Although the description of the update is limited to “general software improvements,” it appears to speed up page turns and menu navigation — two areas which were notably sluggish. You can download the firmware manually right now, or wait until Amazon pushes it out over Wi-Fi in the coming weeks.
