Nintendo’s tradition of releasing as many variations on its portable consoles as possible is alive and well — the Nintendo 3DS will officially be available in pink for US customers on February 10th, at the standard $169.99 price point. You may remember that a pink 3DS was previously available as part of a special holiday bundle, but now the device will be available without the included Nintendogs + Cats pack-in. While losing out on the free game might be a bummer for some, that bundle has long been sold out (and now sells for exorbitant prices on Amazon), so a more affordable option is certainly welcome. Now, the only color unavailable to those of us stateside is the “Ice White” version available in Japan and Europe — though we’d just as soon take a “3DS Lite” that Nintendo is likely to release down the line.
