Netflix has just launched its subscription streaming service in the UK and Ireland. Anyone can pick up a month’s free trial now, which can be extended for £5.99 or €6.99 per month after that. Complete series of TV shows are available to stream immediately, including US content like Prison Break and local UK produce like The Only Way is Essex. That is, of course, in addition to a wide library of movies you can stream. Content variety is still not as broad as Netflix would like it, but the company promises that new material will be continuously added to the available catalog.
