Rdio announced a beta test of its updated app for Android on Tuesday. The Android version, which was long due for an update, has been redesigned to look more like Rdio’s desktop app. So far, the beta version has a new player interface, side-bar navigation to replace the icon grid, and a new remote control feature, but all are subject to change as the beta progresses. The popular music service has not said when the updated app will be released for all Android users, but if you’re interested in beta testing the new features, you can download the app and leave feedback using the Rdio Android Beta Testing Google Group.
