Dish Network has announced that it has settled its lawsuit with Voom HD, which resulted in the removal of AMC stations from Dish’s service earlier this summer. The settlement terms require Dish to pay $700 million to Voom HD for 500MHz worth of spectrum licenses covering 150 million people. Now that the litigation is settled, Dish has agreed to carry AMC starting this evening, and the other AMC Networks channels including Sundance Channel, WE tv, IFC, and Fuse starting on November 1. This means that Dish customers will again be able to watch shows like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead, which should make more than few people happy.
