Microsoft is expanding its subsidized Xbox offer to cover more models and stores. Starting soon, Microsoft will offer a 250GB Xbox 360 for $99 or $149 with Kinect when you sign up for an Xbox Live Gold account for two years at $14.99 per month. The pair of models will join the original 4GB with Kinect option, which will remain $99.

When Microsoft launched the $99 Xbox pilot back in July the offer was available from just 16 official Microsoft stores. Although the company hasn’t confirmed that’s changing, a holding page invites users to “check back later to see a full list of participating retailers.” Given the language used it seems likely we’re about to see a broader retail launch in time for the holiday season.
