Amazon’s Instant Video streaming service is now available on Samsung’s entire 2012 range of smart TVs. The app may already have rolled out to your TV’s home screen but is otherwise available for download via the Samsung Apps page. It features a new interface that Samsung says is “optimized for the living room experience” and offers access to the same library of 140,000 videos and TV episodes, with an additional 30,000 available free for Amazon Prime members. Other manufacturers such as Panasonic have offered Instant Video apps on their sets for a while, but it’s good to see the world’s biggest TV maker get on board with its latest models.
