Normally in this situation we'd recommend you head to a brick and mortar reseller to pick one up, but it seems the outlook there isn't so great either. Some Best Buy customers are complaining that store representatives have been unable to pin down a date when the Kindle Paperwhite will be available in store, but it may be worth trying your luck if you're truly desperate for Amazon's latest hardware.
