Microsoft had been keeping the software development kit for Windows Phone 8 under wraps — but today it’s now available for download. The lack of an SDK had caused some consternation for developers — particularly since app selection has been such a foregrounded concern about Windows Phone as a platform. With the developer-oriented Build conference kicking off this morning, however, it appears it’s time for Microsoft to let the cat out of the bag — and get developers to work.
