A pair of images of a new Windows Phone from French manufacturer Alcatel have been released via Instagram. Referred to as the “One Touch with WP”, it’s likely to be an affordable low-end handset, and will come with the Windows Phone 7.8 OS rather than 8. It’s not clear if this will be the final design, as the One Touch with WP also has the original curvy Windows Phone button, rather than the newer, angular design found on recent devices.
Alcatel ‘One Touch with WP’ revealed, will run Windows Phone 7.8
At present, the phone has only been detailed by Alcatel’s Russian PR, but we’ve reached out to Alcatel’s international office to ask what its plans are for Windows Phone, and will keep you in the loop if we hear anything back.
