Now, ABC reports that Connecticut Medical Examiner H. Wayne Carver has asked geneticists from the University of Connecticut to look at Lanza’s DNA, likely for abnormalities that could provide a clue to his behavior. In some ways, it’s a continuation of studies on psychopathy and the genetic components to mental illness. In others, it’s a perhaps futile search for answers when other avenues have failed to produce results.
