Fred Eerdekens’ shadow art goes far beyond putting some shapes on the wall. Relying on both elaborate arrangements of objects (including cereal boxes and trees) and the carefully controlled lighting of art galleries, he builds messages that appear very clearly at certain angles. Eerdekens has been working for decades on playing with light and shadow, and many of his pieces are collected on his site — photographed, obviously, from the right perspective.
