HTC has taken strides to strengthen its brand with the One series of smartphones, and now the mid-range One VX has gone on sale through AT&T — just in time for the holiday shopping season. We took a look at the phone back in October, which costs $49.99 with a two-year contract but features a design that belies its place in the product line. With a 4.5-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, and 8GB of storage, the One VX may not be the ideal phone for the hardcore Android user — but for someone looking for a mid-range device at a bargain price, it’s an intriguing option. Unfortunately, those hoping to use more recent versions of Android will have to look elsewhere, as the phone ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
HTC’s budget-minded One VX now available on AT&T for $49.99
