Before being bounced around from parent company to parent company, Napster was the company — and service — at the heart of a file-sharing movement that changed the face of music forever. Now director and actor Alex Winter — yes, the same Alex Winter that joined forces with Keanu Reeves in the Bill & Ted films — has made a documentary on the subject called Downloaded. The trailer for the film reveals a number of musicians and tech industry figures weighing in on Napster’s history, from Sean Parker and Shawn Fanning, to David Bowie and Michael Diamond.
