Chinon’s just announced two new Android tablets for the budget-minded — the 7-inch Swift-7 for $159.99 and the 9.7-inch Swift-10 for $279.99 — both of which are available now on the company’s website. Both tablets feature a Cortex A8 1.2GHz chip, up to 32GB of expandable storage via microSD, and run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Swift-7 has a 800 x 600 LCD display, 4GB of internal storage, 512MB DDR3 RAM, and a front-facing VGA camera, while its larger sibling has a 1024 x 768 IPS display, 8GB of internal storage, 1GB DDR3 RAM, and dual 2-megapixel front and rear cameras. Both tablets also seem to share a striking resemblance to another popular tablet we’ve seen, but we’ll leave it to the lawyers to confirm our suspicions.
