ViewSonic introduced its latest Android 4.0 tablet to Mobile World Congress 2012 today. The 9.7-inch ViewPad E100 includes an IPS display with LED backlight and a 1GHz processor. ViewSonic is shipping the E100 with microSD and 3G support, alongside the usual Bluetooth 3.0 and USB connections.

We got an early hands-on today at Mobile World Congress and despite some lag in places, the lightweight and slim profile nature of the device makes it appealing for a low-cost Ice Cream Sandwich tablet. ViewSonic says the E100 will ship in Q2 2012 for under $499.
