As part of its customer loyalty program, Verizon Wireless is offering select 4G LTE smartphones for free — provided you sign up for a new contract. According to Droid Life, a recent email sent out to Verizon customers revealed a trio of devices as part of the program, including the Galaxy Nexus, Droid Razr, and Samsung Stratosphere, all of which can be had for free if you renew your contract with Verizon for another two years. We’ve reached out to Verizon for some more details — including who actually qualifies for the deal — but have yet to hear back as of this writing.

Update: a Verizon spokesperson has told us that the limited time promotion is not nationwide, but instead limited only to the “South region.”
