Sony’s PlayStation Vita offers a console-style experience on the go, but for fans of fighting games there’s one thing it doesn’t have — arcade-perfect controls. One enterprising Japanese hacker has decided to fix this by rigging an arcade stick to work with a Vita. The video below shows the contraption at work, and it seems pretty responsive while playing a match in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Of course, as cool as the arcade stick may be for fighting fans, it does make the Vita significantly less portable, as it’s several times the size of the handheld itself. But for those who really want to climb the UMvC3 leaderboards that might be a small price to pay.
