We first got a look at Toshiba’s 7.7-inch tablet at CES, though at that time the company was calling it a prototype. Here at MWC, the company isn’t saying anything about it at all — it’s Nvidia who is displaying the device and touting its Tegra 3 processor. Unlike the Thrives we’ve seen before, build quality on the AT270 is solid. The plastic still feels a little less high-end than some of the other tablets here, but Toshiba has managed to make this device noticeably thinner than most tablets at this screen size.

There’s a 1280 x 800 AMOLED screen, stereo speakers, microSD, and a ridiculously large charging plug / connector on the bottom. It’s running Android 4.0 and managed to blast through 3D games with predictable verve thanks to the Tegra 3 processor. There’s no word on pricing or availability.
