The Android version of streaming music service Rdio’s mobile app has seen a complete redesign, introducing a number of new features. These include playlists, new releases, top charts, and recommendations, as well as what Rdio describes as “streamlined top-level navigation” in the form of a brand new home screen design. The app now also supports Ice Cream Sandwich, which means users will be able to use the new remote control feature to manage music playback from the lock screen. Other new features include enhanced search and the addition of user profiles, letting you follow other Rdio users to see what they’re listening to. Currently the free download (not including the base monthly fee of $9.99) is available in the US, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.
