Following in the footsteps of LoveFilm and Netflix, British electronics retail giant Dixons has announced that it will be launching its own video streaming service early this year. Called Knowhow Movies, the service will feature both film and television content; though a list of supported devices hasn’t been announced yet, Dixons says that users will be able to access content “at home or on the move.” Dixons hasn’t revealed which content providers are on board, saying only that there will be a “huge range.” No release date has been announced, but with a launch window of “early 2012” we’re expecting to hear more on Knowhow very soon.
